Illinois State DE with a physical, developmental upside profile
Mark Thurston is a **physical edge defender** whose value is less about flashy box-score numbers and more about the kind of size-and-power profile coaches like to develop on the defensive front. Publicly available results do not provide a clear, current statistical snapshot for his Illinois State impact, so the main takeaway is fit: if your team wants a **high-motor, tough, role-friendly DE** who can grow into a dependable rotational piece, he fits that mold; if you need an instant, proven production driver, the available info is thin.
