Physical, Versatile Gophers DB with NFL-Level Traits
Damarius Travis was a hard-hitting, versatile defensive back for Minnesota who stood out for his physicality, reliability in run support, and ability to line up in multiple spots in the secondary. At Minnesota, he developed into a high-effort, tone-setting defender whose best value came from tackling, toughness, and football IQ rather than flashy ball production. If your team wants a DB who plays with urgency, embraces contact, and brings a mature, coachable presence, Travis fits the mold well.
