Delaware State’s Sophomore Pitcher with Elite Wins and ERA
In the 2026 season, Kaylanie Rodriguez delivered a standout sophomore performance for the Delaware State Hornets, posting a 6–4 record with a 3.13 ERA across 63.1 innings, ranking second on the team in both wins and ERA[1]. Her differentiators include exceptional pitching stamina, a calm under-pressure demeanor, and the rare ability to contribute offensively—evidenced by an RBI in a high-stakes loss to Mississippi State[2]. Rodriguez, a committed pitcher from Yucaipa, CA[7][9], brings intense focus and a team-first mentality, making her a reliable fit for any competitive softball program seeking a durable, high-intensity starter with leadership potential.
