Jonathan Smith brings developmental upside to Presbyterian’s secondary
Jonathan Smith is a Presbyterian DB with a profile that suggests *developmental value* more than headline stats: the key question is whether his coverage instincts, tackling consistency, and athletic ceiling translate into reliable snaps for the Blue Hose. Publicly available roster data identifies him as a freshman defensive back, but there is not enough current statistical or scouting detail in the available sources to fairly rank his on-field production or label him a proven difference-maker. If you need a young defensive back who could grow into a role, he’s worth monitoring; if you need an immediate impact starter, the evidence is still limited.
