Tyra Flowers is North Alabama’s new defensive-style forward with proven rebound-and-stops upside
Flowers brings a tough, high-motor frontcourt presence that wins possessions on the glass and in passing lanes, with a track record of elite defensive impact and hustle play. In the 2025-26 season, she averaged 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game for Campbellsville and earned Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Year honors, plus multiple weekly awards, which signals consistent production rather than a one-off hot stretch. She fits teams that value physicality, transition defense, and effort-driven possessions over pure scoring flash.
