Forrest West gives NC State a proven edge-rusher with real finishing juice
Forrest West is a productive NC State defensive end who brought **6.5 sacks**, **23 solo tackles**, and **1 forced fumble** in the 2025 season, showing he can win plays both as a disruptor and as a closer at the quarterback[3]. His value goes beyond the box score: edge defenders with that kind of pressure production usually help set the tone for a defense, and West’s profile suggests a player who fits a team needing a dependable, high-motor pass rusher[3].
