Lauren Sims gives Eastern Illinois a long, physical frontcourt presence
Lauren Sims is listed as a 6'4" forward for Eastern Illinois, which points to a classic interior role built around size, rebounding, and rim protection rather than perimeter flash. The wrinkle: the available public roster/stat pages do not provide reliable current-season production or advanced stat leaders for her 2025-26 performance, so the cleanest read is that she profiles as a depth-and-matchup piece whose value comes from physicality, paint defense, and doing the dirty work that doesn’t always show up in the box score. If you want length, toughness, and a low-drama fit, she’s the kind of forward coaches tend to love.
