LSU's #8 QB Legacy Now an NFL Coaching Star
T.C. McCartney, the 6'3" junior QB from Boulder, Colo., appeared in just one game during his 2010 LSU season, entering late to help seal a victory over ULM without recording stats—marking a brief college cameo overshadowed by his path to NFL prominence. Son of a Colorado Buffs legend, he brings sideline savvy, leadership poo, and football IQ honed as New England Patriots QB coach in 2024 and now Green Bay Packers offensive quality control coach. Not an active college player today, but his pedigree and intensity make him a differentiator for teams seeking smart, gritty quarterback mentors.
