Mandrell Desir flashed as FSU’s most disruptive young DL in 2025
In the 2025 season, Mandrell Desir broke out as a true freshman for Florida State, finishing with 30 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks while playing all 12 games and earning Freshman All-American honors. He’s a twitchy, high-motor interior disruptor with real pass-rush juice, and reports also credit him with leading FSU in sacks and consistently winning with pressure rather than just stat-chasing. For a young defensive front, that’s the good stuff: production, flash, and upside. If your team wants an energetic DL who can wreck passing downs and keep climbing, he’s absolutely a name to know.
