Brodie Collins brings versatility and upside to Mercyhurst’s infield mix
Collins is a 6-foot-2 sophomore UTL for Mercyhurst in the 2026 season, giving the Lakers a flexible roster piece who can plug multiple spots and keep the lineup moving. His background suggests a catcher-first skill set with right-handed pop and strong arm traits, while his recruiting profile listed a 1.95 top pop time and 2.00 consistent pop time, hinting at real defensive tools. He’s the kind of player coaches like because he can adapt, compete, and cover needs without a lot of drama.
