North Texas’ relentless, do-it-all guard with defensive bite
Lauren Holmes built her North Texas reputation as an energetic two-way guard who rebounds like a wing, attacks passing lanes, and handles tough defensive assignments with real edge. In her 2017-18 season at North Texas, she averaged 8.9 points and 4.7 rebounds and was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, with coaches and game notes highlighting her steals, hustle plays, and intensity. That profile makes her attractive if you need a guard who competes every possession, fills the stat sheet in unglamorous ways, and brings a high-motor, team-first tone.
