Brendan Vaughn brings veteran linebacker length and pedigree to Grambling State
Brendan Vaughn is a 6-foot-1, 225-pound linebacker who arrived at Grambling State after time at Cisco CC and was once rated a three-star prospect, with national outside-linebacker rankings that hint at real upside. His early profile stands out for range, tackle production, and disruptive plays — 55 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble in his 2018 junior-college season — plus a sharp learning curve after not starting football until sophomore year of high school. That combination makes him a fascinating fit for a defense that wants a physical, instinctive, high-ceiling LB who can grow into a bigger role.
