veteran Morehead State DB with special-teams grit and team-first DNA
Caleb Montgomery is a familiar, workmanlike defensive back for Morehead State whose value has been built on effort, reliability, and special-teams toughness rather than splashy stat lines. In his 2018 season, he played in six games after a redshirt year and contributed mostly on special teams and in the secondary, without recording stats, and later transferred out after two years with the program. That profile suggests a high-IQ, coachable defender who fits teams that want discipline, depth, and a blue-collar tone more than a headline grabber.
