Curtis Flakes III is New Mexico’s versatile two-way spark
In the 2025 season, Curtis Flakes III has flashed real playmaking pop for St. Pius X, ranking among New Mexico receiving leaders with 311 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 11 catches, while also lining up as a cornerback and athlete[3][7]. His value goes beyond numbers: evaluators and team notes point to a hard-working, tenacious player with legit two-way flexibility, which makes him intriguing for a program that wants competitive edge, ball skills, and lineup versatility over pure polish[1][10][15].
