Josh Hokit is a high-motor, do-everything Bulldog with real grit
In the 2019 season, Josh Hokit gave Fresno State a physical, versatile spark as a 225-pound back who also brought linebacker toughness, finishing with 287 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns while handling 17 catches for 97 yards. His biggest differentiators are his contact balance, short-yardage punch, and willingness to do the dirty work across offense and special teams—classic walk-on, team-first energy with a wrestler’s edge. That said, his college identity was never pure feature-back volume; he was more of a matchup weapon and tone-setter than a pure yardage engine. If a team wants toughness, flexibility, and punch-in-the-mouth mentality, he’s the kind of guy coaches love.
