Albany LB Steven Stern: a downhill tackler in a defense that needs steady run support
Steven Stern projects as a physical, assignment-driven linebacker for Albany, offering value through toughness, contact reliability, and straight-line pursuit rather than flashy stat-padding. Publicly available current performance data is limited, so the best read is that he fits as a glue-player type who can help stabilize a defense with dependable run fits and effort. For a team wanting intensity, discipline, and a low-drama role player who should embrace physical football, Stern is worth monitoring.
