Cameren Cope is a long, high-motor edge rusher with room to grow
In the 2023 season, Weber State DE Cameren Cope flashed in limited action with 4 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery, while his prep profile pointed to the real selling point: a 6-5 frame, long reach, and a reputation as a high-motor quarterback hunter who can be built into more. Reliable recruiting coverage described him as a “ball hunter” with good athleticism for his height, and Weber State staff praised his ability to get off the line. He looks like a developmental fit for teams that want upside, toughness, and pass-rush traits over polished production.
