efficient veteran guard with a tidy all-around game
Brooke Kurucz has been a low-usage but efficient guard for Akron, with career averages of 1.5 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists per game in the 2026-era player record, plus a 45.5% field-goal mark and 33.3% from three. Her background suggests a tougher, more complete scorer than the box score shows: in high school she was a three-time all-state selection, and in her freshman season at Akron she showed flashes in brief minutes, including a five-point game and defensive activity with steals. She looks like a fit if a team wants steadiness, experience, and a guard who won’t panic.
