Jack Johnson gives Georgetown a mobile, low-variance QB option with room to grow
In the 2026 season, Georgetown’s Jack Johnson is a high-effort, athletic quarterback who has shown flashes as a runner and a short-to-intermediate passer, but his production remains modest: he entered the season with career passing totals of 19 completions on 41 attempts for 205 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception, plus 14 rushing attempts for 24 yards in 2025; in Georgetown’s 2026 opener at Lehigh, he went 5-for-10 for 53 yards and a touchdown while adding 46 rushing yards. He looks like a fit for a team that values mobility, toughness, and a developmental QB who can keep plays alive rather than one who is already a polished volume passer.
