Pepperdine’s innings-eating righty with swing-and-miss upside
Jordan Cole enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot-2, 195-pound redshirt junior right-hander who has steadily become a rotation option for Pepperdine. In the 2025 season, he logged 16.1 innings across six appearances and four starts, posting a 4.96 ERA with 14 strikeouts, and Pepperdine previously noted a 3.68 ERA with 9 strikeouts through 7.1 innings early in the 2025 campaign. The appeal: he’s already been trusted in big spots, flashes solid strikeout ability, and has the build to hold up in a starter’s workload. He looks like a live-armed, projectable fit if you want a developing weekend-caliber arm rather than a finished product.
