Jaiden Delaire brings pro-ready length, shot-making, and veteran polish to USD
Jaiden Delaire is a 6-foot-9 forward with real stretch-forward juice and seasoned college production: in the 2022-23 season at San Diego, he averaged 9.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals in 12 games, and he previously posted 10.1 points and 4.0 rebounds in the 2021-22 season at Stanford. His calling card is versatility—he can score from the perimeter, rebound his area, and chip in defensively with active hands. The caution flag is durability: he missed time with injury in 2022-23, so health is the big swing factor. If he’s right, he’s a smart fit for teams needing a long, experienced forward who plays older than his age.
