Rutgers DB with Academic Grit and Steady Tackling Presence
Davon Jacobs, a Rutgers Scarlet Knights defensive back, earned 2014 and 2015 Big Ten All-Academic Team honors while starting four games in 2015, logging six solo tackles and seven total stops at Penn State plus three tackles and two pass breakups vs. Washington State—showcasing his football IQ and reliability. Now with Wagner Seahawks, his differentiator is disciplined intensity and academic excellence, making him a low-risk, high-character fit for teams valuing versatile DBs who contribute without drama; care because he's the prototypical overlooked gem with pro potential.
