Maine’s Rim-Protection Anchor
Justin Rowe made his name at Maine as a classic paint eraser: in the 2001-02 season he led the America East in blocks with 121 and set the school single-game record with 9, then followed with another elite shot-blocking year in 2002-03 at 4.1 blocks per game while also producing double-digit scoring and strong rebounding. The key appeal is obvious—size, timing, and intimidation around the rim—but the fit question is whether a team needs a defense-first center who can alter shots and clean the glass more than he creates offense. In a word: disruptive.
