Veteran Nebraska linebacker with special-teams grit and proven run support
Ferguson is a seasoned Nebraska linebacker whose value has long come from toughness, assignment discipline, and special-teams reliability rather than headline-grabbing splash plays. In Nebraska’s program notes, he was credited with 3 tackles and an interception in five games in one season, and later with 4 tackles including tackles for loss against Illinois and Ohio State, showing he could make timely, physical contributions in the box. He’s a fit if you want a hard-nosed, experienced defender who knows the system, brings edge, and won’t flinch in contact.
