seasoned New Mexico QB with walk-on grit and veteran polish
Martinez stands out less as a stat-chaser and more as a steady, experienced quarterback who has earned his place the hard way at New Mexico. Official team material has described him as a walk-on reserve with “excellent potential,” while roster listings and bio pages show a veteran college presence with local roots in Albuquerque. The big appeal: toughness, familiarity with the program, and the kind of underdog competitiveness coaches love. If a team values poise, work ethic, and a QB who knows how to operate inside a system, he’s a compelling fit.
