Strike-throwing Omaha righty with early swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, Carter Boos has logged 3.1 innings across five appearances for Omaha and struck out 5, a tiny sample but a clear sign he can miss bats.[1] After a 2025 junior-college season at North Iowa Area Community College in which he posted a 5.21 ERA with 22 strikeouts and 11 walks in 19.0 innings, he arrives as a smaller-framed but competitive right-hander who has already earned a role at the Division I level.[1][2] The appeal: live-arm potential, enough punch to survive in leverage, and room to grow if command sharpens.[1][2]
