Steady LB Depth for Albany Great Danes
Ben Howe-Jones, a linebacker for the University at Albany Great Danes, appeared in all 13 games during the 2023 season, logging eight tackles (five solo) with a season-high three at Marshall, showcasing reliable rotational depth and tackling consistency at the FCS level. Transitioning from high school standout at General McLane (CB/RB versatility per Hudl), his steady intensity and solo-stop efficiency make him a low-risk, high-motor fit for teams needing developmental linebacker depth without flash, though modest production suggests he's best as a special teams contributor or backup rather than an immediate starter.
