defense-first Cowgirl who brings steal-hunting energy and backcourt grit
In the 2022-23 season, Stubblefield gave McNeese a clear identity piece: she averaged 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.8 steals in her Cowgirls career, and she swiped a team-best 78 steals in her senior season after leading LSU-Eunice with 107 steals in her final junior-college year. She’s the kind of guard coaches love for disruption, toughness and pace-setting defense, plus she has postseason-hardened experience from two regional runs at LSUE and a redshirt year after a preseason injury, which adds resilience to the profile.
