Texas Southern LB Brent Griffin: young, active, and getting real run
Brent Griffin is a Texas Southern linebacker who has already logged game action in the 2025 season and looks like a developing piece for the Tigers’ defense. The biggest takeaway: he’s not just a body on the roster — he’s gaining live reps, which usually signals trust from the staff and a chance to grow into a steadier run-and-tackle presence. If your team values effort, physicality, and upside over polished star power, Griffin is the kind of under-the-radar defender worth watching.
