Grant Ellis brings veteran guard scoring punch to Southern
Grant Ellis profiles as a **guard who can create offense and stretch the floor**, with enough size at 6'4" to offer lineup flexibility and experience from multiple competitive stops. Publicly available data on his exact 2025-26 Southern production is limited, but his background suggests a seasoned, adaptable backcourt piece rather than a volume-only scorer. If Southern needs a steady guard who can fit into different roles and provide immediate maturity, Ellis is a plausible fit; if you want a high-usage star with well-documented recent stat dominance, the available reporting does not make that case clearly.
