Gavin Crow brings veteran versatility and special-teams toughness to Montana's defense
Crow is a physical, experienced defender whose value goes beyond the box score: Montana has used him as a safety and even shifted him toward linebacker, signaling trust in his football IQ, tackling reliability, and ability to handle multiple roles. He has also been described as a special-teams standout for the Griz, which matters for teams that prize effort, discipline, and lineup flexibility. For a roster needing a dependable, high-motor player who can contribute in coverage, run support, and on special teams, Crow fits the mold.
