Columbia QB mystery man, but the data says the name is off
I couldn’t verify a current Columbia Lions quarterback named Roy Altman; the reliable results point instead to a former Columbia quarterback, Roy K. Altman, who played football at Columbia and later earned All-Ivy honors in baseball. For a current-performance evaluation, this isn’t enough to grade a 2026 player—but as a historical Ivy athlete, Altman stands out for two-sport versatility, athletic competitiveness, and high academic/competitive pedigree rather than raw stat production. If you meant a different Columbia QB, the name may need correction before any accurate ranking or scouting snapshot can be made.
