Alfred Pinkney brings verified depth and track-speed upside to Sam Houston
Alfred Pinkney is a Wharton, Texas product listed as a cornerback for Sam Houston, and his profile shows a compact 5-foot-8, 175-pound frame plus a legit multi-sport athletic profile that included a 1.95m high jump mark and a sixth-place finish at the 2014 Southland Conference outdoor meet. The strongest differentiators are his burst, body control, and special-teams value — the kind of athlete who can help in coverage units while adding developmental upside at CB. Publicly available roster data is limited, so the appeal is more about athletic profile and versatility than headline defensive production.
