Marshall’s Intense Reserve DL with 22 Tackles and 1.0 Sack in 2024
While the query mentions Chris Hawkins as a DB, Marshall’s roster features J.J. Hawkins (#55), a reserve defensive lineman (not DB) who played 12 games in the 2024 season, recording 22 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, and 7 QB hurries [2][4]. His differentiator is relentless intensity—he logged a sack against Virginia Tech and consistently pressures quarterbacks despite limited snaps [2]. No injury history is reported, and his personality reflects a high-work-rate reserve who thrives in situational defense. He’s a strong fit for teams needing a physical, QB-hurrying depth lineman, though not a DB as initially stated [2][3].
