Asiyha Smith brings veteran guard savvy and steady production to East Texas A&M
Asiyha Smith is a seasoned, multi-stop guard who has shown she can give a team dependable possession basketball, with Oklahoma Christian noting in the 2023-24 season that she averaged 11.3 points and 2.6 assists per game, hit double figures five times, and even ranked among the league leaders in blocked shots from the guard spot[10]. Her best fit is a coach who values toughness, maturity, and an all-around connector who can score without needing the offense built around her; the backstory matters too, because she redshirted early in her career and has kept grinding through the transfer path, which usually signals resilience and adaptability more than flash[1][6].
