Kansas State’s Greg Gaskins brings local toughness, but 2026 production is still sparse
Greg Gaskins is a Manhattan, Kansas product on Kansas State’s roster who has shown real development and earned a spot in the linebacker room, but his current on-field impact is still limited, with ESPN listing just 3 total tackles in the 2026 season as of mid-May. The appeal here is traits over gaudy numbers: a homegrown Wildcat with experience, versatility, and the kind of blue-collar, no-drama profile coaches usually love. If you’re looking for an immediate, high-usage difference-maker, he’s not there yet; if you want depth, effort, and upside in a system fit, he’s a credible watchlist name.
