Nina Sanford brings old-school post toughness to Montana State
Nina Sanford is a physical 6-foot center who gives Montana State a fundamentally sound, high-effort interior presence; in her prior college season at Snow College, she averaged 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 48% from the field and 74% at the line, and Montana State described her as hardworking, dedicated, and a strong fit for their program. Her appeal is the blue-collar stuff that doesn’t always show up in a box score: strength, toughness, and reliability in the paint, making her a good fit for a team that needs dependable post defense and steady interior scoring.
