Brandon Whaley brings size, savvy, and run-game punch to Delaware's tight end room
In the 2026 season context, Brandon Whaley stands out as a veteran 6-foot-5, 250-pound tight end who has already logged 25 games and 17 starts for Delaware, with six career catches for 108 yards; the biggest differentiator is his reputation as a big, physical downhill run blocker who can help a team win the ugly snaps while still offering upside in the passing game. He was also noted as an All-CAA candidate and was battling for a starting role, but injuries kept him out of spring drills, so the fit is strongest for a team wanting toughness, experience, and reliable edge-setting at TE.
