Heath Williams Jr. brings dual-threat juice and veteran QB reps to Tennessee State
Williams Jr. is a seasoned quarterback with legit game experience, including 2023 work at Clark Atlanta where he threw for 1,155 yards and 4 touchdowns in 10 games, plus prior Tennessee State reps that give him built-in familiarity with the Tigers’ program. His calling cards are size, experience, and mobility — he’s also shown he can add value as a runner, which keeps defenses honest. The upside here is a steady, battle-tested QB who can create; the concern is that his passing efficiency has been inconsistent, so he fits best if your offense can maximize playmaking without asking for perfect precision.
