Blake McCoy brings downhill toughness and linebacker energy to Furman
Blake McCoy is the kind of **LB** who stands out for **physicality, pursuit, and reliable run defense**—the traits that matter when you need a tone-setter in the middle of a defense. For Furman, his value is less about flashy numbers and more about whether he can consistently diagnose plays, finish tackles, and hold up against bigger bodies in a physical conference game. If you want a linebacker who projects as a **hard-nosed, assignment-sound fit**, McCoy is the profile to watch.
