Kentucky’s steady, big-leg veteran with clutch upside
In the 2025 season, Matt Ruffolo remains a proven Kentucky specialist with major-program experience: he has 42 career field goals, 119 career extra points, and 245 career points, ranking fifth on UK’s all-time scoring list. He’s been the kind of kicker coaches trust when the game tightens up—most memorably with a career-high four field goals in Kentucky’s 2022 Governor’s Cup win over Louisville, where he earned MVP honors. The fit? If you want a calm, battle-tested kicker with a long track record and late-game nerve, Ruffolo checks that box nicely.
