big frame, developmental edge-rusher for MVSU
Rodregus Scruggs is a **6-4, 284-pound** freshman defensive end at Mississippi Valley State, giving him the kind of size teams want on the edge and a profile that suggests upside as a physical run-setter and developmental pass rusher. The available record shows him as a young player from Mitchell HS in Memphis, so the real story is projection: if he adds functional strength, sharpens his hand usage, and learns to convert that frame into leverage, he could become a useful fit for a staff looking for a sturdy, coachable defensive end with room to grow.
