Lindenwood DB with an info gap, not a performance gap
Publicly available, reliable performance data on Brett Hiatt at Lindenwood is limited, so his current on-field profile is hard to quantify from stats alone; that said, as a defensive back, the traits that matter most for a fit check are coverage consistency, open-field tackling, and processing speed. Right now, the safest read is that he is a player to monitor rather than a clearly documented impact starter, which means the best answer on “why care?” is upside and evaluation potential, not a proven production resume.
