Versatile Aztecs DB with grit, return-game experience, and a transfer background
Davion Mauldin is a San Diego State defensive back whose value shows up in the “little things” area: he has documented kickoff-return and punt-fair-catch duties in game action, which hints at field awareness, reliability, and trust from coaches in 2008. He was brought in as a junior-college transfer from Cerritos College, a path that often points to a ready-made, physically mature defender. If your team wants a DB who can contribute with toughness and situational versatility, Mauldin fits the profile; the public record here is dated and does not show modern ranking or season-stat updates.
