Elon long snapper Patrick Campbell is competing for punt-snap duties
Patrick Campbell is listed by Elon as a long snapper who will compete for playing time on punts, a niche but high-leverage role where consistency matters more than flash[1]. Because long-snapping stats are rarely tracked publicly, the key takeaway is fit: he profiles as a special-teams specialist whose value is clean, reliable operation under pressure, not box-score noise[1]. If your team wants steady mechanics, low-drama execution, and a player who understands that one bad snap can ruin a drive, Campbell belongs on the radar[1].
