Lakevias Daniel brings veteran, ball-hawking edge to Southern Miss secondary
Lakevias Daniel is a seasoned Southern Miss defensive back with a reputation for taking the ball away; as a junior-college prospect he was ranked among the nation’s top JUCO cornerbacks, and at Southern Miss he has shown versatility, playing safety after arriving as a corner. In his Southern Miss seasons, he was used as a steady, physical piece in the secondary, with past production that included tackles, interceptions, and pass breakups. If you want a defense back who adds experience, instincts, and playmaking flashes, he fits the bill.
