No Trace of Josh Boyd as RB for Appalachian State Mountaineers
Extensive searches across reliable sources like ESPN, 247Sports, and team sites reveal no current or historical Josh Boyd playing running back for the Appalachian State Mountaineers; instead, multiple players by that name appear as defensive tackles/linemen at schools like Mississippi State, Harvard, or NFL vets with the Colts, with one unrelated college RB at an unspecified program posting modest 197 rushing yards on 48 carries career. Without verified Mountaineer stats, rankings, or analysis, there's no data to highlight strengths, performance, or NFL fit—likely a name mix-up.
