Low-usage SFA guard still searching for a bigger role
In the 2024-25 season, Luke Stansbury saw very limited action for Stephen F. Austin, appearing in only four games with minimal minutes and no scoring in those outings, after playing six bench games as a freshman in 2023-24. The appeal is his size for a guard at 6-2 and the fact that he has already shown he can knock down a three in limited minutes, which suggests perimeter feel and some shooting upside. He looks more like a developmental fit than an immediate impact transfer: a program that values patience, spacing, and guard depth could be intrigued, but the current on-court sample is still small.[1][2][3]
