Left-Handed Arm with Developmental Upside at Cal State Northridge
Banuelos is a left-handed pitcher for Cal State Northridge whose current 2026 line shows a 1-0 record, 8.59 ERA, and 3 strikeouts, so the raw results suggest he is still settling in at the Division I level.[3] What makes him interesting is the classic LHP profile—left-on-left value and matchup flexibility—but the numbers indicate he needs sharper command and more swing-and-miss to become a reliable fit for a competitive staff.[3]
