Drew Shader brings Colorado-bred size, toughness, and upside to the Buffaloes’ line
In the 2026 season, Drew Shader is a 6-foot-5, 285-pound sophomore offensive lineman from Boulder who fits Colorado’s program with hometown pride and old-school trench traits: mass, length, and the kind of developmental upside coaches love to mold[1]. His profile suggests a player built on power and leverage rather than flash, and the appeal is clear if your team wants a tough, local lineman with room to grow into a reliable depth piece or future starter[1].
